CUSTOMER NOTES FOR SUPPLYING FILES:
When you are not capable of supplying specific art files based on the “Graphic Designer Notes” below, we will recreate the art as close as possible. The more info you provide us with, the better.
Please supply us with detailed information regarding your design to help make the order and design process as easy and fast as possible. This will also help reduce art charges IF they apply.
Art charges are $45 an hour if no file is being supplied or if the job requires custom art. Custom art is anything detailed and specific where basic clipart and fonts CANNOT be used. Most jobs will 
NOT incur art charges when supplied with enough info and reference files for basic design jobs.
Please provide us with the following:
– font names
– colors being used
– color of item being decorated
– reference files (ideas you might have come across such as clipart from the internet)
– any specific notes regarding print location or effects added to fonts and design
– size of design for each location being printed

We DO NOT accept the following:
– Screen captures from smart phones
– Copyrighted artwork (e.g. Disney, Star Wars, Marvel Comics, NFL, MLB, etc.)
– Faxed artwork
GRAPHIC DESIGNER NOTES FOR SUPPLYING FILES:

Adobe Illustrator / CorelDraw:
Suitable for all print methods.
Requirements:
– Please outline all fonts
– Please use Pantone Colors when creating
– No embedded raster (eg. jpg) files.
File extensions accepted:
– Encapsulated Post Script (“.eps”)
– Portable Document Format (“.pdf”)
– Adobe Illustrator File (“.ai”)
– CorelDraw File (“.cdr”)
SECONDARY FILE FORMATS:
Raster Photoshop Files
May be suitable for screen printing, digital transfers, vinyl transfers or direct-to-garment prints – Subject to approval.
Requirements:
– Must be 300DPI
– To size or larger
– CMYK color mode only
File extensions accepted:
– Photoshop Document (“.psd”)
– JPEG Image (“.jpg” / “.jpeg
– TIFF Image (“.tiff”)
– JPEG Image (“.jpg” / “.jpeg”)
– PNG Image (“.png”)
SCREEN PRINTING:
All screen print artwork will be converted to Pantone Solid Coated® spot colors.
In all cases, the closest CMYK color match possible will be used, but we prefer our client to supply Pantone swatch colors wherever possible.
The maximum print size for your screen print will be limited to the smaller of both dimensions below:
Max Screen Size:
12.5″ wide x 16″ high
OR
Garment Size:
The width & length of your smallest garment (print must fit within this area)
EMBROIDERY:
Please supply artwork in CMYK or Pantone Solid Coated spot colours. The closest thread colour will be assigned to your artwork in all instances.
Please ensure text is no smaller than 4mm in height, this is the absolute minimum size to ensure legibility.

Please note that if sizes are not provided, our production team will resize your artwork to ensure it looks appropriately sized across your garment spread (as the print size is fixed across your entire garment sizing breakdown).
MOCK-UPS/ART APPROVALS:
Please note that, for ALL orders, a digital artwork approval & mock-up will be provided for you to sign-off on before printing begins.
SENDING YOUR ARTWORK:
Please email your artwork to graphics [at] 4t-shirts.com, or the staff member you have been in contact with, if known.
If your artwork is greater than 10MB in size, please send via one of the free online transfer services listed below:

To open the Pantone Solid Coated® color library in Adobe Illustrator, go to the top menu bar and select:
“Window” > “Swatch Libraries” > “Colour Books” > “PANTONE solid coated”
